Medieval Logic: An Outline of Its Development from 1250 to c. 1400

This essay on the elements and the systems of scholastic logic does not pretend to fill in a lacuma. Rather it will show that there is a gap which ought to be filled in. Be that as it may, the principal objective of this work is to foster an understanding between modern and neo-scholastic logic. We are personally convinced that such an understanding between these powerful groups of modern philosophy is not only possible but highly desirable, not to say necessary, for the benefit of both.
