The scarf was made in Bengal an area renowned for its masterful weavers and elaborate jacquard borders.This scarf features wide embroidered botanical edges, woven hand loomed scarf with hand twisted finishing. The border has a reverse image on the other side - a sign of true handwoven jacquard. We love this border because it feels like something you might find in your Indian grandmother's closet - a truly vintage look. The body of the scarf has subtle striping.
