Tuhfat al-Murīd ʿalā Jawharat al-Tawḥīd is one of the most famous and widely taught commentaries on the classical poem Jawharat al-Tawḥīd, a foundational text in Sunni Islamic theology (ʿaqīdah), particularly within the Ashʿarī tradition.

The book explains the theological principles found in the poem verse by verse. About the Commentator: Imām al-Bājūrī (d. 1277 AH)

 Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad al-Bājūrī is  major Egyptian Ashʿarī theologian and Shāfiʿī jurist. He served as Shaykh al-Azhar (head of al-Azhar University).He wrote important works in theology, law, grammar, and logic and his commentary on Jawharat al-Tawḥīd is one of his most significant contributions.
